How do I borrow a book?
Browse our library by genre.
Find a book you'd like to read.
Write down the Book ID (found beneath the book cover or in the Live Library Catalog).
Complete the Book Request Form.
An admin will review your request.
You can find the Book ID in two places:
Under each book cover on the Browse the Library pages.
In the Live Library Catalog, which also shows whether a book is available or currently checked out.
Yes! Please submit one request form for each book you'd like to borrow. This helps us keep requests organized and ensures our waitlists stay accurate
The easiest way is to check our Live Library Catalog, which displays whether each book is currently available or checked out.
No problem! If the book is unavailable when your request is approved, you'll automatically be added to the waitlist. Requests are handled in the order they are received.
No. Once you're on the waitlist, your place is saved. When the book becomes available, the next person in line will be contacted.
An admin will contact you with the next steps once your request has been approved
We ask that books be returned within 30 days whenever possible so other members have the opportunity to enjoy them.
Life happens! If you need a little extra time, simply reach out to an admin before your lending period ends.
When you're ready to return your book, contact an admin through the Books & Banter Facebook group to arrange the return.
